Dont waste your time and energy with these developers. Riverbrook gardens - sales executive doesnt know what she is talking about. Either lies and makes things up or pretends she knows and gets it wrong. Example; we raised a concern with the sewage plant beside the site, she explained a survey conducted in the cussins site showed 100% of people at the site didnt notice any smell, upon further discussions we where told that the site does give off a smell So we questioned this, the sales executive then told us it was 80% of people didnt notice a smell. It later turned out, no survey was conducted and it was made up. Consistent lack of site and housing knowledge and re clarification needed across number weeks and emails, phones call with various staff members. Management passing the buck and taking no accountability for issues. Regional sales director uncontactable until 29 days after the reservation. Numerous emails and calls to him, he is too important to get involved in the day to day or take any accountability for any customers concerns or experience. Serious questions have to asked about what or how this sales director is doing to help his team and most importantly customers who specifically request to speak to him or alternatively seek his advice based upon a terrible experience. House we reserved still marketed for 3 weeks after we reserved it?? Told to exchange contracts before completing searches?? It seems this development doesnt want any questions if your enquire about spending 500k on a house, you either dont ask questions or alternatively they hide behind a desk and give you inaccurate information as staff blame management and management blame the staff. My suggestion is to look elsewhere as this experience has been awful and Im sure there is plenty of other good housing sites willing to give a far better experience than story homes.

Aware !!!! Do not deal with this company a so called top quality house builder ! be aware as I bought a 350 k house and its the worse thing Ive done buy off story homes DO NOT DO IT 3 years 354 faults and still not right ! Fred story you should hold your head in shame a house or home building company more like a circus! Shame on you and your staff totally discussed

Good houses by modern standards, customer care has been good when pushed. However, bullying and intimidation from site management and ground workers is a common theme. Were on a site where behaviour of site manager is/was deplorable. Site manager using foul and abusive language about my neighbours in front of customers. Seems this was the tipping point that made them rectify our snags and faults when this issue was raised with higher management. Very depressing but they are the better of a bad bunch these days! Our house is very nice, but they had to be pushed hard to sort things. My main issue has been the deplorable behaviour of site management, other staff have been very good but firefighting the attitudes of on site management. Theyd get a much higher review if it wasnt for the behaviour of certain members of staff drastically destroying the customer experience overall!

Absolute cowboy builders, design not to plan, major electrical defects, major drainage missing under foundations, quality of painting, dry lining, joinery work, floor levels, tiling, just simply avoid the builder beautiful products used but closer inspection once purchased. Site team unqualified Bill Croft, QA/QC not even in vocabulary not to mention understanding, when going higher director pat oneil nothing gets done only lies and deflection, passed to NHBC who ruled I our favour and Story still arguing the rumours are true look on trust pilot for reviews and mytauntonstory on Insta for the real story home truths. If in doubt contact me and come for an inspection of the quality receive once purchased. AVOID in addition you dont loose 5 star builder status for nothing.
