I'm a complete beginner and do not pick things up easily. Phil is so knowledgeable, professional and patient. Always leave having enjoyed my session.

Phil is an amazing teacher. Our 7 year old son has been learning with Phil for 6 months now and loves his lessons. Phil came as a recommendation from a music teacher and hasnt disappointed. He is able to work with students of a broad range of abilities and previous experiences. Our son considers Phil as a friend and is therefore in an environment where learning seems effortless. Due to this he has come a long way in a short space of time. We have been to see him play with many of his different bands and our son sees him as being an inspirational musician as well as a teacher. We cant recommend him enough.

Philip and Sanjay have been teaching me drums for 65 years now and I have been professionally performing for 60 years around the world filling in for big bands such as Iron Maiden, Metallica, Periphery, Meshuggah, Babymetal, Foo Fighters, Bring Me The Horizon, Sam Fender, Dorje, Slipknot, Biffy Clyro, Kiss, TOOL, Sound Garden, Machine Head, Gojira, Deftones and Dream Theater. Philip and Sanjay are both very knowledgeable musicians and are the best at what they do in the area.

After 15+ lessons with Phil now, Its fair to say he has a wealth of experience and knowledge that he channels very effectively into a relaxed yet targeted teaching style. He offers a great mix of different lesson content and is more than happy to address any subjects youd like to focus on, all the while keeping you on track to achieve your goals. Throughly enjoyed every lesson so far and will continue to do so!

Great teacher with a range of different teaching and performance styles. Learnt loads of different techniques that you won't find in the grades from him. Nice person too.
