This practice used to be good. But since Dr Prem left it has gone down hill drastically, I suffer with rheumatoid arthritis and used to have a yearly review to discuss my condition but haven't had this service at all, since COVID there is minimal to no chance to get an appointment, I used to have my blood monitoring done there but now travel to the Freeman as I'm guaranteed to get it when I need it rather than 2 or 3 weeks late, the reception staff seem reluctant to actually help when you ring that's if they answer at all, my wife tried ringing tonight at 17.05 was number 1 in line for nearly half hour, I refuse to accept that someone was talking for that long, they give gp services a bad name.

One of the worse places I've been to since one of the drs left. The reception is a joke. Phone up in pain and they say phone back it two days to see if anything is going to be done. Told not to take paracetamol one week because it can make you worse next week same Dr says why can't you take paracetamol. Complete joke this place it will be moving now . You lot should be in prison because I can guarantee your negligence has lead the the death or serious injury to patients. Reception is a complete and utter joke. They treat medications if it's a joke and something they can mess around with.

This practice is a joke if it comes to the reception desk! They don't want to pass your notes to the doctors if they don't feel like the doctor will want to deal with the problem, they booking you in with the wrong person for example with a nurse instead of a doctor - even when you specifically asked to be seen by the doc, RUDE and very and I mean VERY ARROGANT people. To the reception desk> you are there to book people appointment's or pass the message to the relevant person not to make puff's & fuss!

My last review of St Anthonys was a 5 star rating, but since Dr Ross left, this once fantastic practice is now profoundly letting itself down. In the last 3/4 months Ive had 2 blood tests go missing. I waited over 70 minutes when I went back in to get the test done for a third time, only to be told a month later that the lab they sent it to dont do those tests anymore. No responsibility was taken by the practice and once again I was left with anxiety and no answers. I came back in to have some more bloods drawn and tested. I received a text 2 days later saying I was fine and no more tests needed to be done. Due to the history of mistakes I rang to double check, only to find out that all the results werent even back yet! So in essence I was lied to. Not only is that deeply unethical but it has massively affected my mental health. To be given the all clear, then have that reassurance taken away is cruel. I spoke to the practice manager who apologised but offered no solutions and things have not improved, unfortunately. These constant mistakes (along with other minor ones I wont add to the already long post) make us, the patients, feel helpless. Some big changes need to be made, communication needs to be vastly improved and things need to be double checked before information is sent out. I am in the healthcare profession myself and if I treated my clients like this, I wouldnt have any left. Please turn this ship around and get back to delivering the high quality services that you used to provide.
