Dr Andrew Greenwood and the team at Kelvin Lodge made the whole experience of having implants a pleasure. Andrew was the consumate professional, a leading expert in this field and it showed all the way through the process. I felt included from start to finish in the process, with explanations and demonstrations of the process and procedure. The whole process was pain free (not once did I have to take pain relief throughout the whole procedure). The cost was in my opinion extremely reasonable for the amount of time in planning, preparing and fitting implant. (Yes you can get this type of work carried out abroad by a so called expert at a discount- however for me, I had my work carried out by the best qualified and most professional dentist in the Region. You pay for what you get and I got the Best) If you have a fear of dentists, please try here. The whole team will put you at ease with their professional and caring approach. I have been so impressed, myself and partner are moving dental practices to Kelvin Lodge under the care of Andrew. I recently had my first ever implant. It was done at the Implant Foundation situated in the leafy suburbs of Gosforth, just north of Newcastle. The whole prodedure was extremely professional from initial consultation to completion. Andrew Greenwood, the dental surgeon, gives you a detailed description of what is to be done,which is both enlightening and very reassuring. Kelvin Lodge itself is a grand building set in grounds with ample parking. No expense has been spared on the surgeries - the technology available for use is simply stunningly good. After your x-rays, photographs and millimetre accurate measurements, you get to see the computer generated image of the final end product. Following the preparation work, the actual implant procedure was so utterly straightforward and quick (done in under six minutes) that I'd equate the stress levels to that of a scale & polish! The implant foundation at Kelvin Lodge Dental Care sets out to be first class in every respect and in my opinion, it is.
