        Went to the Byker station it was closed, buzzed to get attention and no answer. People were working in the ground floor and they did nothing neither. Dark and gloomy all around good job I wasn't getting chased by someone and seeking the police station as refuge.

        Very friendly+helpful staff from my getting to know them in 1985 when my husband worked there up until today. Police have one of the worst jobs as have the rest of the emergency services and don't get half the thanks they deserve. Bear in mind their numbers have been cut back that much by the government - that is the main reason it takes more time for jobs to be done. Our police are the world's best so be thankful for that, give them the thanks they deserve.
