Mum was in chesterton Lodge for just over a year, during this time mum was a high risk of falls, she fell at least 7 times, visited A and E at least 4 times, which resulted in stitches twice. Mums medication was not given to her on 6 occasions,. Sadly mum passed away on November this year, on he day she was admitted to hospital she was severely dehydrated, she had an severe infection caused by chronic bed sores, that had gone untreated from the home, the hospital advised they were at least 4 weeks old. Mum also had covid ( how) when we had to have a test to visit. I feel there is a complete lack of communication at the home. I would not recommend this home anyone who cares about their loved ones

Poor "care" home which doesn't much care. Looks modern but scratch beneath the building and the care is poor. Ignore the CCG report as the management staff have all changed since then. Toxic blame culture within the staff. Belongings go missing - clothing, glasses, shavers etc. Management reluctant to take responsibility and continually try to shift blame to relatives - or say that their staff are not able to carry out basic tasks (like elevate feet) because they are not trained nurses. Overall poor. Do not spend precious money on this home.
