Farmhouse Rest Home

I've only worked at the farmhouse a short time, I was welcomed with open arms into the family! Management are very supportive, doors always open ( unless obviously in a meeting ) and even better hands on! This is a home from home with hearty cooked meals, that full loving tums! The staff go above and beyond their expectations to ensure the quality of life for residents is never hindered! Do you want a home from home? Then the farmhouse is for you!

The Farmhouse enviroment is second to none the staff always pay 100% attention to detail, i have worked at the home for 12 months. i can say since joining the new proprietors the home has fully turned around the residents are always the main priority, the residents are always busy, as the activities coordinator meets the needs of every individual, the home is decorated the way our residents asked for, the food menu has been catered around the residents wishes, The manager is fantastic along with her peers they have supported me through all I need to achieve very high standards of care but also supported me emotionally when I lost a family member the care and compassion from all staff was amazing and always will be, the compassion I have seen towards residents makes me proud to be apart of the farm house team, we will carry on the same way,

I have worked here for 6 months now and I can honestly say I've never felt so comfortable in a job before, I love working with the residents everyday and they all have me giggling with them, the management is great and go above and beyond for both staff and residents, the other staff are great to work with to they also go above and beyond to help our residents, I'm glad I started working here and wouldn't want to work anywhere else, going to work here brings a smile to my face everyday

Fabulous rest home, the staff are excellent, very caring and nothing is too much trouble for both residents and relatives. Lots of activities provided and lovely food. A really homely atmosphere, would recommend to anyone.

I started to work for Loomer Medical Ltd in 2014, over these years I have achieved so much and never thought I'd be the person I am today. I started my journey as a care assistant at The Wedgwood Unit as an unconfident girl having no idea where I wanted to go in life. The company and all of the staff have supported me in so many ways and I cant thank everyone enough for believing in me. Today I'm standing more confident and continuing to work harder to be the best I can. I am now the activities coordinator for The Farmhouse Rest home and with the support of my amazing manager I continue to learn and develop the best I can, I cant thank her enough for beliving in me. I'm so thankful that I have a job I love and work along side a team who works so hard to provide the best care for each and every resident.
