Took my car in for a quote,they spent 30 minutes inspecting it and told me they would ring me later that day with an estimate, never did. Chased it up the next day and was told the same, they never rang. Never heard from them again.

Service Above and Beyond. Genuinely helpful and honest. Car showed engine faults on the M6 1hr into end of term holiday journey. We pulled off and a local mechanic (unable to help) recommended Richard Dalton Ltd. From the moment we called they were helpful, accommodating and honest. When we arrived they responded to our stress (crying kids in car at prospect of cancelled hols) and quickly ran a diagnostic on the OBD then explained what it all meant. They gave us several options, explained each and the work and costs involved. They gave us time and space to think and let the kids use the bathroom while we figured out what to do. Once we'd decided to not risk further breakdown and turn back to home, they printed out a list of issues and comments to assist our regular mechanic. The whole team were just incredibly kind. Special thanks to Jason, and the reception gang who refused to take any payment for their time or help. A truly genuine, warm, friendly and helpful atmosphere from everyone on site. A garage that I wish was closer to our home further up the M6! Thanks Richard Dalton Ltd, i can't reccommend you guys enough.
