Here at Dilicious Wedding Cakes, I have tried many pastes looking for one that I love to work with. In my opinion, Sugarpaste Direct offer the best, smoothest and easy to work with paste on the market. Like most pastes you have to knead this to make it more elastic once opened, but it covers flawlessly, no elephant skin or tearing and is also easy to colour. Its is firm to the touch the following day, allowing you to stencil and paint without fear of creating dents. I love the Panache for wedding cakes and standard or no frills for celebration cakes is a little firmer but just as good. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting an excellent product at competitive pricing.

Sugarpaste Direct produces the best sugarpaste on the market. We have tried many different brands, across the whole pricing scale and Sugarpaste Direct always beats them, hands down. It is easy to work with and covers brilliantly. It dries flawlessly too, when you run your hand across it the cakes feel like porcelain. It also tastes better than most others on the market, handles well in all weathers and is very reasonably priced.
