Medical Doorway

If your looking to study abroad and you dont know how to apply on your own, either use medical doorway, or re-apply to UK unis. Its really not easy coming abroad to study medicine, and I would say to any budding medical student- think very hard and carefully before you start medicine abroad, you need to be 100% committed and serious about med. The reasons not to study medicine currently outweigh the reasons to study medicine at the moment- this is largely to do with the NHS and the state of the UK, but if medicine as a science and art form really appeal to you more than anything else; then do it. As a graduate it is easier for me to adjust to life abroad, but I can see why it is extremely difficult for younger students, and why there is a large fail rate in the first few years. Yes you get to retake the exams a few times, as opposed to the UKs system of results being capped at 40%, but its not easy if you havent been studying all along the way. To conclude, I would highly recommend med doorway, best thing about them is that they only partner with unis that are fair institutes without corruption, etc like Sofia MU and other places. Really not sure who I spoke to but he was very rude. I was calling to make enquiries and he shut down every university I named. Even lied and said some universities were on the warning list. I dont understand the need for this as youre supposed to be here to help. However no help has been offered whatsoever. My number was also blocked by the associate in which I spoke to. I think this is the rudest thing that can be done. I do not recommend contacting them for any services you may need. Honestly Id rather pay to another agency because at least theyll speak to me with a bit more respect. Seriously disappointed

Im not one to usually write reviews, however Ben and his associates have been a great help in streamlining the applications process, Ben provided all the info clearly and consiscly ahead of time and was a great help solving every problem that occurred along the way and there were no extra, hidden or abnormally high costs along the way.
