The state of the roads in Newcastle is unbelievable. The forms to submit a complaint not only require you a specific location, where you can easily highlight whole stretches of roads, but there are reports submitted back in 2019 for potholes that have not been fixed! Its appaling!

Called up to chase a garden waste bin delivery, as we have not had one since we moved to the area. The lady we spoke to has to have been the rudest and most unprofessional customer service member I have ever spoken to in my life. Trying to tell me that what my eyes are showing me is clearly wrong and that there has been a garden waste bin at the property since they were built. (Would you like to come round and see) She then goes on to tell me that I have merely paid for a subscription and I need to pay extra for a bin. (so you are telling me I am paying for a service without the actual bin) I explained that all calls must be recorded and to listen to our previous conversation with the previous Customer service member, where it will clearly show her that they advised us we were paying for a bin and it will be delivered soon. She then had the audacity to tell me that calls do not go back to December when I initially thought i had purchased the bin. After explaining to her that her manner was out of order, we then got through to a manager. He later rang us back after listening to our previous 40 minute voice recording (when we thought we had paid for the bin, proving that calls are kept that far back.) the manager agreed that we were told we were getting a bin and is resolving this matter by delivering one. He did agree with us and pointed out that we specified that we did not have a bin so why would we pay for a subscription for something we don't have. But to be frank if the staff were better trained in the first place, did it need to come to all of this ? Our local councillor I think has a lot to explain for themselves as this is the worst council I have lived under PERIOD !
