My wife and I attended Newcastle-under-Lyme Bridge Club for the first time on Sunday 26 February 2023. We were attending a competition and were very pleased with the warm welcome and facilities available. The club is based in an old Chapel building on the one-way A53 out of the North West part of Newcastle-under-Lyme ( signed to Leek) . There is no parking at the club itself. Members park in nearby streets and walk to the club. If you are disabled , there are a few steps at the front of the club, but a flat access route is possible by entering via a rear gate. This can be unlocked by phoning the club ( note this number is only answered during club opening times) The club is all level, once inside, with a large multi area playing space plus a completely seperate room at the front of the building. At the rear of the club is a kitchen space where drinks of tea and coffee can be made. Alongside is a toilet area with a large disabled toilet. The bridge is run by very helpful directors and sessions are run using tablets for scoring . A pleasant and warm club - highly recommended for a visit .
