        I moved to Thatcham about 8 months ago from Windsor. I have to say that Burdwood Surgery is excellent. The staff is professional yet compassionate. It is always possible to get an appointment. It is very convenient that blood tests can be done right on the premises and most importantly, the doctors and health workers never forget to follow up when a health issue is ongoing. I highly recommend Burdwood.

        I had an appointment and arrived on time and booked in with the receptionist, however, due to a faulty appointment system apparently, I waited an hour to be seen. I was told that after i was booked in on the system, the system changed my status to not arrived and so the nurse was not aware that i was waiting. If i hadn't asked how much longer i would have to wait, i would still be sitting waiting hours later. This is not good enough especially as both the receptionist and the nurse were aware of the faulty system. Did nobody notice me sitting waiting??
