Experienced a fantastic E-consult process. I know I needed something more to deal with illness than standard chemist product. Put my issues online, within about 2 hours I had a prescription sent to the chemist. Really helpful and no need to sit for ages waiting for an appointment when I knew the issue already! Thanks

Falklands bombarded me with texts to come for my yearly diabetic check, knowing I could not to the surgery , they actually wrote a letter attesting to this fact in 2019 because of my R.A it was very difficult for me to travel to the doctors, yet they refused to refer me to district nursing, saying there was a strict criteria which I, apparently did not meet, so I changed surgery to Eastfield house, who are so much more approachable, within the first week I was referred for district nursing for my thyroid and diabetes, and there has been no mention of a strict criteria. It Turns out the nhs criteria for people who require district nursing is not just for housebound but those who have difficulty going out, but Falklands seem to be making up their own rules. Two days after changing doctors, Falklands rang and offered a home appointment, to try and redeem themselves, but I told them that it was too late and I had already changed surgery. I've been told that I should have been offered district nursing from 2019, but If you don't fit into their personal idea's of who meets the criteria for district nursing you could end up being refused the medical care that you need.
