I am only a beginner in this institute, however I am no stranger to martial arts clubs in general. I have had great fun attending the classes here. Everyone is very friendly, welcoming and good fun to chat to and train with. The "sensei" of the class, Stephen Byrne is a joy to learn from and a very nice guy all round. I would highly recommend checking out this club and maybe even coming to check it out

I have been training at Newbury BJJ under Stephen for just over 6 months now and can honestly say that his patience and attention to detail not only shows his technical knowledge of BJJ; but also his ability as a coach. I would highly recommend training with him!

Been training about a year and a half now, and I never want to miss a session! It really is a great club with great people!!! The club has grown massively since I started and i think its fair to say Ive gained a lot more friends in the process I would always recommend this club to anyone looking for a new hobbie, if their just looking for fitness (gym can get abit boring) or if theyre looking to compete! Its for everyone, and there is now a kids class too which is becoming a success 5 stars all day
