Just zoom in on the text showing necessary info picture that have been clicked by me at the site. The water of the well is quite higher than any water bodies far from the site. We, back home in India , have such water bodies that are reverred and known for their sanctity.

        Odd place. I would not recommend anyone drink or touch the water here now. It looks and smells quite unpleasant. The path leading to it is quite overgrown with nettles so make sure to wear stuff to cover your legs. It is probably accessed best from the church at the bottom of the hill
