Richard is a thorough teacher, who set me up with the necessary skills to feel confident in my test and beyond. Through his methods and encouragement I passed first time in my own automatic car. Richard's Electric Mini Cooper S is a safe and agile car to learn in, which provided a great cross-over to my petrol automatic. Richard is also a great listener who always gave detailed answers to each of my questions. In addition, his competence when teaching dual carriage ways and more advanced areas of driving made me feel safe throughout. I strongly recommend Ultimate Driving and their thorough teaching for anyone looking to feel truly confident handling each and every scenario on the roads.

I learned to drive with Ultimate Driving in the automatic mini electric car with no prior experience and passed my test first time with only 1 driver fault. The instructor is calm and patient and understands well how to build up your experience and confidence by introducing you to elements of the test slowly and when you are ready. The amount of local knowledge the instructor helps to onboard is also very helpful providing you with knowledge of the area and how to travel it that would take you much longer to learn if you were to drive alone. All in all a very worthwhile driving school that is the reason that I am confident on the roads and was able to pass my exams as well as I have. Thanks Ultimate Driving!

I've started my learning experience with Ultimate Drive in April 2022 and passed the first time on Feb 2023, with only 3 driver faults. Ultimate drive use an automatic electric mini, and the instructor is very nice and strives for the least amount of driver faults as possible. I've tried getting my drivers licence 3 times, and this one was by far the best experience. The car drives beautifully. Learning automatic makes it really easy very quickly. You start focusing on safety sooner and less about gears and clutches. Ultimate Drive also offers an online course, which I found very useful , especially when I started learning manoeuvres and tell me and show me questions. We started with one lesson a week for a few months, and when the test was closer, we had a few couple of hours sessions. I also got to do a few mock tests that put me in the same situation as the test, and they were very helpful. I would definitely recommend Ultimate Drive. I highly recommend ultimate driving as I tried lessons in a manual but much preferred driving an automatic and the electric mini was a really good car to learn in. I also subscribed to the online course which was also very helpful.
