I met John from the professional class at the Place. John set the class in a very supportive and encouraging environment. He is also very passionate about teaching. There was quite a lot of takeaways from the class. I really enjoyed the classes. Thank you John !

Nocturn's dance classes are such a fun way to improve your dance technique, fitness and confidence. I've been going to John's class for years - John is so welcoming and encouraging, and the atmosphere in class is always great. The class is suitable for all abilities as you can adapt what you need to, and it's also great at challenging you to improve, whatever your level. There's a mixture of technical and creative elements, and opportunities to perform if you want to. It's a really inclusive space and I would definitely encourage people to give it a try!

Nocturn dance is definitely the place to go if you want a safe environment to challenge yourself. John strikes the perfect balance between teaching technical and creative tasks in a challenging way whilst providing a completely supportive and safe place to make mistakes and learn new things. Johns energy is infectious and the group is just lovely. Nocturn is the place to be, give it a go, you will not be disappointed!

This is a wonderful, welcoming class. John gets the best out of every one who joins and makes everyone feel a part of something. I have been dancing with John for over five years now and I think that says it all. If your nervous about joining take the leap because it's definitely worth it.
