St Johns Stores and Post Office

Very disappointed with our experience using this post office (St John's newsagents). We went in to send a couple of parcels and whilst waiting in the queue the lady serving (who was dealing with customers for both the post office and newsagent) told the guy behind us to go ahead of us without any communication to us. It quickly became apparent that those buying vaping liquids were given priority over those using the post office. Once we were the only people in the queue she started shouting a person's name repeatedly whilst we stood only a few feet away. We presumed she was calling for someone to assist us whilst she served any customers that weren't using the post office service. This wasn't the case as it was in fact her young son she was yelling at. We would have expected to have then been given an explanation as to why we had to wait, or an apology for the shouting but that didn't happen. There was once again a staggering amount of rudeness and lack of communication when I handed the parcels over. The one that we wanted sent free post was even snatched out of my hand. All in all not a pleasant experience and we won't be returning. Credit to the paperboy though, who was very helpful when we first entered and directed us to where the open post office counter was.

Beautiful people. They even made a special effort to get my beloved Fullers London Pride. I miss them having moved away, this place is old school service and really cares about the customer.

Brilliant little post office and store not a huge selection but the convince is perfect
