    I recently purchased a used car from Marshalls, No MOT or information on when the MOT was due were in the documents provided with the car, As a result the MOT expired, On contacting the garage to book an MOT I pointed out the lack of information provided to which I was told it was my responsibility to find out when the MOT was due, The parting words from the service contact were that it was 'My choice where I got my car serviced and that it didn't need to be at Marshall's' I can now understand why there are so many 1 stars reviews against this company and I'll take there advice on servicing elsewhere !!

    Apauling presentation is an understatement. Brought my dad here to buy a newish karoq, 2 months old, used as a demo. Originally, the car was listed on auto trader for 34k, but they tried to convince us it was incorrect & listed on their pitch for 36k. Managed to hold them to 34k. The car wasn't even handed over in a handover Bay, as you'd expect when spending over 34k, The weather was raining, and we were introduced to the vehicle outside in the rain. At the time of collection, as you would expect, the car was still dirty inside, dusty, stains on the seats and scratches to the body work. It was very difficult to see the exteior condition due to the rain on the vehicle. From start to finish, the salesman was happy to take payment but never tried to upsell any extra warranty or benefits with the car and just wanted to take our money! We took the vehicle home, and they promised that they would cover the cost of a valet, but they told us we had a limit. Also, we found deep scratches on the rear bumper, and we had to rectify that ourselves because we were told that it wasn't there when it was valeted the day before. By the looks of the condition, it wasn't valeted at all. We drove all the way from Manchester to pick up the vehicle, and we were assured that it would be valeted and well presented upon arrival, which wasn't the case. From my experience, I would not buy skoda again, as the customer service, aftercare, and presentation is disgusting. We are disgusted by their treatment. Do not recommend!
