Very happy with Matt. Came on a short notice and done an excellent job, was keeping me informed every step of the way. Most importantly he resolved my DPF issue and now the car is driving very good. Highly recommended!!

Problem: Car had been laid up (on a SORN) on the drive since the pandemic hit us and had not been driven. On startup I found a fuel leak under the injectors and no clutch which was unusual as it was a relatively new clutch and there was no fluid or marks on the ground? What could this be? Dilemma: The car was undriveable, and I had to remove the car from my drive to allow for a builders skip. I didn't want to go to the costly option of a load loader and even then where should I take it? I decided to try a different way to get the car up and running Solution: I googled for a mobile mechanic and came across Campbell's which was fairly local. On contacting the owner Matt, although he was busy, he offered to come and diagnose the problem asap. He arrived promptly and on time. After a few minutes he was able to find the fuel leaks and repaired them quickly to my satisfaction. The clutch was a different story and as the clutch did not respond to bleeding the cheapest cost option was to replace the slave cylinder which I ordered through my supplier. Matt returned 2 days later and fixed the slave with the view that the Master cylinder should also be changed. I ordered this and it arrived quickly. Matt came the following morning and replaced the corroded and jammed master cylinder. Hurray! The car was up and running. I quickly booked the car n for an MOT that same afternoon and it passed with flying colours! I was so pleased and relieved as i could now get the car off the drive in preparation for the imminent arrival of the builders skip. So I'd just like to say a big thank you to Matt, for his prompt response, his professional diagnosis (sometimes you have to work by a series of elimination) in regards to which parts were needed and his value for money (far cheaper than a low loader). I would not hesitate to recommend him if you need a good mobile mechanic who knows his stuff and is likeable and good humoured. Thanks Matt. Service: Transmission repair
