AVOID GETTING ANY WORK BY W HARTLEY LTD!!! POOR QUALITY WORK, CONSTANT LEAKS WITH GUTTERING INSTALLATION, REFUSING TO FIX IT, SPEAKS RUDELY AND HANGS UP PHONE. TRYING TO CHARGE ME 200 TO COME OUT TO FIX A LEAK AT THE JOINTS OF THE GUTTERING THAT'S ONLY BEEN RECENTLY INSTALLED. THESE LEAKS HAVE HAPPENED AT EVERY JOINT OVER 5 TIMES!!! DO NOT TRUST W HARTLEY LTD WITH ANY WORK AT ALL!! Service: Gutter installation

We had a roof leak that only happened in severe weather/storms. William said what the problem was, quoted and said that all their work is guaranteed, and if there are any problems, they'll sort it. I paid for the work and then for the room to be redecorated. Another storm came, and the same leak was still there. I was annoyed as I had paid for the repair and for it to be painted, but they said they'd be over to look. However, instead of just putting it right, they tried to charge me more money for the same repair! So much for guaranteeing their work. He even tried to make out that it was a new problem in the exact same spot. Needless to say, we declined and will try to get someone with more integrity. Their guarantee means absolutely nothing. The job was a nasty clear-out of a very dusty loft before laying new insulation. Disposal, at the local amenity, of the junk from the clear-out together with more junk from the garage was included in the fee. All done cheerfully and very quickly on a cold, dirty, sleety day.
