I have been the manager for Bowbridge Court for almost a year following the internal promotion of the previous Manager. Bowbridge Court is a wonderful home with all the facilities you would want and more! The staff team are dedicated and hard working and many have been there for many years. There really is a sense of family between us all. There are a range of activities and we are always inventing more! Great food and warm and comfortable surroundings, we even have our own train station! It just a wonderful place to work and live our residents receive great care, comfortable and spacious rooms and attentive staff. Best care home by far x

Writing reviews is not something I do, but I thought I should in the case of Bowbridge Court. When we were looking for a care home for our Dad I had four specific things I was looking for. Friendly, Happy staff, the latest CQC report, and the smell oh yes that boiled cabbage smell. We had been to several homes all very nice good CQC, friendly etc., but they all had that smell. Enter Bowbridge Court wow press the bell door opens hello good morning how can I help (friendly) wide open welcoming reception lots going on. We were taken on a tour plenty of space the residents looked well happy and so did the staff (happy staff) there was plenty to keep Dad occupied if he wanted it, plus the list of what they do for him if he wished seems endless. Only got to tick two more boxes (Smell) what smell, there was none fresh as a daisy. CQC well that was a concern the latest one was no good but that was around Christmas and we were in July. The work that has been done is terrific and it is still going on. There has been a lot of money spent to improve the staff training, the dcor and residents comfort. They still have a long long way to go and they will get there. You notice little improvements each week. Our Dad is 96yrs, on entering Bowbridge Court he was none attentive not bothered in fact a right pain. He has been here almost 3mths and looks and acts like a 90yr old it is no longer hard to have a conversation with him, goes out on afternoon trips he is enjoying life again. Finally the staff, everyone no matter who it is always has time to talk to you as a visitor and they spend time talking to Dad. Looking around the lounge the residents are not sitting in rows staring into space they are talking to each other. I really do recommend you consider Bowbridge Court.

I work here as a Carer, I left work for an agency to come here as the management and carers, care. Its the best home Ive worked in. Its decorated well, the rooms are a great size and most of all the residents call it home. I wouldnt hesitate in putting any of my family here if required!

My father's depressed state has been lifted by his 4 weeks at Bowbridge Court, and he is now thriving, and enjoying life again. The staff are amazing here, very uplifting from the front staff to the carers, all have a way of making my father (aged 81) feel important and cared for. The atmosphere is relaxed, and everything is spotlessly clean. Food is great, I have sampled it myself, and even had a gourmet dining experience, which is up with top restaurant standard. Activities are on all day, and all are encouraged to join in, even the visitors! On site, there is a cinema, a main dining/living room and side rooms which can be booked out for private family gatherings. A hair salon is free as is a chiropodist. My father started out as 2 week respite, but loves it so much he has gone full time. He has started laughing and joking for the first time in years, so massive thanks to the amazing staff at Bowbridge Court, too many to mention, sorry!! 10/10 Amazing place.
