I did a short, one-to-one free motion embroidery session with Michelle. I was pleasantly surprised at how much she packed into our class; I left feeling more than ready to tackle my own projects. The class was very well planned, went at just the right pace for me, and I had plenty of hands-on practice with an expert at hand to help. Michelle gave me plenty of tips and tricks to take away too. Most of all, she was welcoming, relaxed, enthusiastic, patient and thoroughly experienced as a tutor, and the session was a lot of fun. For anyone considering joining classes, Id say treat yourself: youll learn a lot more than watching YouTube videos or buying books, and come away confident, enthused and ready to roll up your sleeves and start your own project. Good luck to Michelle in future; Newarks loss but Southamptons gain!

Wonderful shop, pleasant and helpful staff. It has a cottage like feeling, with imaginative decorating. Loved it. For anyone who doesn't know, its behind Asda's petrol station in car park

This is a lovely meeting place, shop is too impersonal for the welcome you receive here. Where you can buy local crafts from beautiful pottery, amazing hand sewn items to exquisite sewing boxes, join in one of the sewing or Art courses or have a logo stitched on items. Meet friends for lunch or a tea/coffee. Such a lovely friendly place. Come & browse, from purchasing needles, cottons & buttons to creating your own master piece..an excellent place to visit.
