Stitch-express

Ive used Stitch Express a couple of times and been broadly satisfied with the results up until now, especially given how cheap they are. But the latest alteration - taking in the waist on a pair of jeans - was a complete bodge job. Its hard to imagine how they managed to get this relatively simple alteration so wrong, but the back seam of the trousers now resembles the sort of wonky scar you might associate with Frankensteins monster. I suppose those prices should have been a warning: pay cheap; pay twice. And they demanded that I pay up front! One to avoid for all but the simplest of alterations. What a fantastic service! I took my daughters coat in because the lining was torn. The friendly, professional woman said it was a quick job (not for me) and fixed the lining while I waited. I didnt have to leave it with her and make the trip back to Newark. The lining looks like new. The woman was highly skilled. Fantastic price. Extremely reasonable! I've had a couple of things altered here plus one of the ladies made me a new ironing board cover! My ironing board is an oversized one and finding a new cover has been a nightmare but now I have a hand made one which fits perfectly.
