        Good atmosphere, you need to catch the barman on the right mood, can be a bit of a Tuesday, beer is good, food is hit or miss, vegan sandwiches not my cup of tea. Needs better signage, easy to miss. When you find it, it's worth the effort

        Out of all the pubs in Newark, this is certainly one of them. Happy Hour? This is an establishment that insists happy shouldn't be limited to just an hour. Landlord can belt out a decent "It's Raining Men" on the karaoke. Best Shakey Dogg in Notts, guaranteed.

        Great atmosphere for a small select clientele. Dont touch the crisps they taste like they were from the back of a lorry. Plumbing is a bit dodgy. Beer 10/10
