        We chose Ruth to make our wedding cake in July 2022 after we tried her samples, which she kindly hand delivered to our venue for one of our wedding meetings. Ruth was really easy to work with and held a Zoom call to talk through the exact look we wanted and to finalise the details. The cake turned out exactly as I envisaged it and looked great. We chose a different flavour for each layer - Vanilla Sponge, Cookies n Cream and Lemon - and they all tasted amazing! Would highly recommend Ruth and Southwell Cakery.

        Ruth made the cake and cookie favours for our wedding. We had a hard decision of which 3 flavours for the cake as all the samples that we tried were delicious. The cakes Ruth creates are a work of art and taste amazing. The cookies were incredible too and all our guests loved them. The communication throughout was brilliant, any queries we had were responded to quickly and it was a joy to work with Ruth. Thank you so much
