Popped in last Saturday evening and thoroughly enjoyed excellent home made food. I had Steak and ale pie with plenty of fresh veg and my partner had the steak and kidney pudding, also fabulous. Great atmosphere and service. Highly recommended.

There exactly on opening time Entered at same time as staff. Lovely warm welcome, good selection of Ales. The ploughman's was exceptional. We had the stilton ( plentiful). All reasonably priced. Well done the Warren.

Cheap... But not cheerful! 35 for 2 adults and 1 child. Meal each and 1 drink each. It is cheap, but food is very basic. Bar staff not welcoming. Bit of a "locals" pub!
