A super hub for the community, well used with various activities throughout the week. Also used as a polling station for all national & local elections and referendums. Great kitchen facilities and more than adequate heating. The place is clean and tidy and well looked after. Booking can be made directly and the details can be found at 'Halls for hire on Romney Marsh'. Can cater comfortably for upto around 50 people. Table and chairs are also provided.

I worked here as a nurse for a couple of months and can safely say I wont be working in private care again. Nursing staff were clicky and didnt make you feel part of the team. Every shift should have had two nurses, but there were plenty of occasions where I was left alone as the only nurse on shift with 40+ residents. Management say they will help you, but usually just leave you to it. Youre told that if you ever need help, to call management. One weekend I was in a situation but neither the manager nor deputy answered my calls. I had to then send a text and got a reply from the deputy saying the manager was having her car fixed, which transpired that the car was more important than the residents. Work rotas should have been given out a month in advance, but often you would only get it a few days before in advance, therefore making plans for the month ahead almost impossible because of the short notice. Shifts were also changed but without informing you of the shift changes until you went into work and saw for yourself on the rota. Most of the HCAs, cleaners etc are brilliant, but over worked and underpaid. Also met the regional manager once and she was quite ude who are you is what I was greeted with upon meeting her. I also did a lot of training in my own time and was not paid for this. I really would advise against working here. Large staff turnover for a reason.
