        Fantastic, guy , really helped my friend on his VFR when he had an electric fault. Came from the shop with a new battery on a Saturday afternoon to the breakdown location and diagnosed the fault. Even offered to recover bike and rider home, 60 mile round trip. Great guy. Think it was John

        Saturday run out over the Cat and Fiddle went a bit pear shaped when my 24 year old VFR conked out in Hayfield, one google later John turned up with the new battery I'd asked for, brilliant, but the bike was still dead, bummer. Within minutes John had located the issue, a burned out connection on the solenoid and offered to ferry me part way home to meet my buddy who was on his way to collect me, an exceptional offer which I refused in favour of a couple of pints and a ham sarnie at The George. Back home the Honda was running after twenty minutes fettling. Thanks John, I owe you one! I also need to thank my grandson for showing me how to do this.
