The shop offers beautiful, affordable African print fabrics (6 - 10 for 6 yards, 03/2023) and others. The staff was very friendly. All in all I can only recommend going here!

UPDATE. I have since been to the main store. What a difference! polite, couldn't do enough to help me.. ibwill go here again, actually I have already been back twice! Added two stars to my original score for this branch. I went to the high street branch and asked if they took card. I know most places do these days but there are exceptions so I always make a point of asking in a smaller businesses I haven't used before. I was told that anything but Amex is fine. I am disabled and found it difficult to get around the shop, not really a complaint as it's a small shop and they do have a huge range of fabrics. I wanted some fabric that was in the centre of the table and asked the man working there if he could help, he just walked off, ignoring me.After some very uncomfortable reaching to get what I wanted I managed to get what I wanted and made my way to the till area. Obviously I pulled out my card as I had already asked about it, ready to pay my 24. I was told they don't take card for "less than 40 or 60". This was definitely not mentioned when I first asked and not written on any of the signs about cards. By this point I was in a lot of pain and didn't need the fabric that desperately, so told him to forget it and I'd go elsewhere. Suddenly he could take a card for less than 40 or 60... what a surprise! I was made to feel like I was dirt for only spending that much though. I'd heard good things about their other branch and love their fabric so I didn't think I would be treated like filth by the staff here. Maybe it's because I needed a little extra help, maybe it's something to do with a walking milk bottle buying African fabric, maybe the staff member was having a bad day... whatever it was I don't think I'll be going there again, I still might try the other branch but I'm a bit unsure about that. Such a shame, I really do love their fabric.
