The White Hart

Booked for an overnight stay over the Bank Holiday weekend. Such a welcoming and friendly place. Nothing seemed to be much trouble, special shout out for Bianca, who was attentive helpful & made us feel at home. The vibe at this family run pub is special. Was a really relaxing weekend. The food was delicious, too. The room was comfortable, and what we needed as a base. Visit the Chilton Valley winery & and brewery, which was around 28 in a taxi

Rooms: Well equipped, comfortable, quiet and spotlessly clean. Food & drinks: Fabulous menu with delicious home cooked food. I had the Boboti which I would highly recommend. The breakfast which was included in the accommodation price was wonderful. Plenty of it, good quality ingredients and served with a smile. Noteworthy details: Lovely, smiley, welcoming, accommodating hosts and staff.

Had a fantastic night at the White Hart with our daughters, the rooms are stunning (we had a beautiful free-standing roll top bath in our bedroom! Amazing!) and the food is absolutely delicious. I had the fish special which included yummy spiced prawns, calamari and hake too , my husband had an unbelievable steak, the best he's ever eaten. Staff are all super friendly and helpful and you've definitely got to try the oreo milkshake, the kids were in food heaven! Nearby activities: Set in stunning Nettlebed with fantastic scenery and great local walks
