We stayed here in a chilly February and thoroughly enjoyed our time. We stayed in a shepherd hut which was kitted out with a kitchenette & dining area, log fire, small bathroom and comfy king size bed. We loved the coziness of the place, and the fact that you were in your own space and not overlooked by anyone else, with beautiful views of the moors from the bedroom window. The site has a pool with steam room, sauna and hot tub, and a games lounge with table football, pool and video games. There is also an outside area to play ball games (in the warmer months!) and perhaps best of all, a working observatory with retractable roof. The car park has electric charge points which is a huge plus, and the staff were very helpful and quick to resolve our small issue. I cannot recommend this place enough for a couple looking to stay in this gorgeous part of the UK!
