Terrible that they continue to trade given their history of drug growing up stairs and the lack of hygiene at the premises.

Thought they were clever stealing electricity from the street lamp and growing drugs upstairs until they were caught, they are now on Crown Court bail awaiting their trial.

Had a takeaway from here the other night. We had zinger burger and chips which was easily up there with the KFC version and my wife had the kebab which was nice. They also do Indian food which we had when theyt first open, not a massive menu but from memory the food is better than the most of the ones in nearby Swadlincote. Staff are frinedly and its nice to have a local indian nearby.

I wasn't like I remembered as a kid but it's still a lovely little village shop but with Marion gone it won't be the same. I grew up knowing the owner before she passed away. Great shop.
