I was born in Netherseale in 1955. I have found memories of my early childhood, growing up on Hunts Lane. Infants school at St Peters from the age of four. We left for a new house in Measham when I was about 8 or 9. I remember playing in the river mease on Chilcote Lane. Bike riding all around. Playing with friends. Lots of people coming into the garden on fireworks night for bonfire toffee, toffee apples and hot dogs. Watching the blacksmith shoe the horses on dog lane. Going to the chip shop on dog lane as well. Summers playing among the hay bales and straw in the fields. A truly wonderful childhood in the most enchanting of villages. people coming into the garden My great grandma and great grandad are buried beside the church also my grandma and grandad, dad and uncle Lionrl
