If you want a beautiful camp site then this is a stunner of a site. However, if you want a functioning campsite then there are betters. Its a real shame but simple things like too few toilets/ showers, broken freezers for ice pack exchange (if you even manage to get your ice packs back) and untrained dogs in the camp sites who can break into your tents in search for food, can put a real downer on your experience. The son who runs front desk is lovely but the mum who runs the tours can be very cold and unwelcoming. We requested refunds for the lost ice packs and food eaten by the dog but once we left the campsite ignored our email. So stay for a night bit its not the kind of place you can stay comfortably for a weekend. Also please note the website says no dogs or kids but there were definitely both dogs and kids on site when we went (visiting and staying).

Amazing, AMAZING place for camping. Went for a couple of our friends birthdays and the site owners were so welcoming, the food stalls they set up for the Fri/Sat were unbelievable and the fire pits provided are great. Very much enjoyed the cider tour and tasting whilst we stayed as well and very good value for the tour and the ciders. Will be back again, thank you :)
