        Three of us visited on Sunday and we loved it. The food was really tasty. I'm a vegetarian and there are great vegetarian options. I had a roasted butternut squash with walnuts and all the trimmings. Vegetables were really tasty, even the spinach! All three of us were very satisfied. Very good and friendly service too. Food & drinks: Great vegetarian and vegan options.

        We stayed at the Dog and Gun in February for a family wedding and by George is it a good place. Its a proper, traditional Inn and the staff seem genuinely proud to work there. They were so attentive, and had to let us in at the Witching hour because we had brought the wrong key with no complaints. The breakfast the next morning was next level. we loved the stay - thank you so much to the staff who made it so enjoyable.
