        We just spent three nights at the Poole House in May 2016. We went there interested in the history of the house that often played host to Wordsworth and Coleridge in the year they wrote Lyrical Ballads. The house was full of books on this history. We had a big, luxurious room with fine bed and fine breakfasts. Teresa and Rick made it easy to visit Stowey without a car, and walks in the Quantock Hills start at their front door. This is an excellent place to stay in a quiet, beautiful part of the world.
