Capture My Big Day

We cannot thank mike and his team enough for making the photography and videography part of our wedding day easy going and comfortable as possible. The pictures that we have received so far from our online gallery have been amazing and we are looking forward to getting the final pictures and the video. The payment process and the questionnaires that you fill out for what groups of photos you want for your wedding is done through a online portal which is really easy to use. We would highly recommend mike and his team.

Wow, Where do we begin. Back in 2018 I won a competition with Mike on Facebook to take our wedding photographer in 2020, as many couples due to COVID our wedding got rearranged and Mike did everything he could to make sure he could still do our wedding photographer the next year (regardless of me being a competition winner or a paying customer) - Mike still made us feel so important. We got married in 2021 and it was the best day. Mike and Vicky are a fantastic team, so very kind, caring and just generally down to earth people. They made Tim, I ,all our family and wedding party feel at ease throughout the day. The photos are so beautiful and something we will truly cherish forever. They are so natural and have truly captured the best moments throughout our day. Especially with my disabled dad seeing me in my wedding dress for the first time. A moment I now can remember and look back at forever. On the night of our wedding we received a first glance of the photos and I must admit I was up till 3am sobbing at how beautiful they were. Mike kept us updated with the process of editing and the timeline of when we would receive our photos. When we got our photos we had a date night and went through them together (Mikes suggestion!) and it was another beautiful evening for us to share as husband and wife. We now have a beautiful bespoke wedding album and two parent books from Mike, just WOW! Please do think about getting one of these to look back at your day and show your friends and family. They are just beautiful, Vicky did a fantastic job of putting the pictures into an amazing order. We can't thank Capture My Big Day enough for being such a big part of our wedding day and helping us have the most beautiful photos to look back at for the rest of our lives. Thank you Mike & Vicky.

We first met Mike at a wedding fare in North Wales just before the dreaded Covid hit. There was no pushy salesman tactics, in fact he stood quietly (though rather indiscreetly at 6ft 8!) at his stand, letting the work he had displayed speak for itself. The photos & videos were simply stunning and his passion for his work came across in abundance. He was simply wonderful from the off and we booked him later that week. We were lucky enough to have an engagement photo shoot included in our package, which we arranged for this summer in Snowdonia. This allowed us to get to know both Mike and his wife Vicky, and we instantly knew we were going to have a blast together! They had such amazingly creative ideas and we were so impressed with how enjoyable they made it and how at ease they made us throughout. It felt like old friends catching up and we couldnt thank them both enough for their time and patience with us both! The pictures we received from the engagement shoot were incredible; so natural and so incredibly creative - we had never seen work like it before. We knew we had made the right decision and we couldnt wait to see what they could do on our big day! The morning of the wedding, Mike and Vicky were joined by Phil, again another wonderful member of their team. Whilst they were discreet and made everyone feel completely at ease, they slotted right into our crazy bunch of friends and family and it honestly felt like we had gained an extra three friends at our wedding. Plus, we cannot thank them all enough for their help with our live stream to allow us to share our day with those who couldnt join us on the day, which truly meant the world to us both. We are in love with how you were able to capture us at our happiest; nothing was ever forced and from the bottom of our hearts, we thank you all so much! What can we say!? Other than from all of our hearts, THANK YOU From the moment we first spoke, to meeting Mike and Vic at our engagement shoot (with the best memories made here too!), we knew we had hit jackpot with the loveliest couple photographing our most special day! Not only does their work speak for itself, but they are the kindest, friendliest humans and truly felt like a special part of our day. Mike and Vic are not only incredibly talented, and work their butts off, but they sincerely care about their couples too! They have captured our memories of our day in the most incredible way, and every single person I have shown our photos to so far have all commented on the way they have captured emotions, raw feelings and moments in the most beautiful way. We are so over the moon with our previews, and cannot wait for what is to come!! Did I mention how incredible they are!? We feel so lucky to be a Capture My Big Day Bride and Groom! From first meeting Mike we were blown away by his pictures and videos, and very quickly decided we absolutely needed him at our wedding! He was really supportive during lockdowns and worked with us to find back up dates, and even managed to find time to fit in an engagement shoot which was great fun! On the day itself we were so happy to have Mike and his team there. They were super friendly and fit right in with us all. For the more formal shots Mike came up with some amazingly creative ones and was up for any of our ideas too (special mention for the bride's "flying" picture and to Phil for the pre-ceremony getting ready shots of the groom!). The whole day ran perfectly, and only a few days later we've already recieved a selection of pictures that are better than we could have ever imagined! Easily one of the best choices we made for our wedding was having Capture do our photo & video, we could not recommend highly enough and are so in love with our pictures!!!
