Took my father for coffee and cake as an afternoon treat for his 91st Birthday. The staff were so welcoming despite being busy. The service was prompt and efficient in the best possible way. They even put a candle in his scone and a chocolate message on his plate only then to sing. Happy Birthday to him. Very touching indeed. Would most definitely recommend.

I always loved going here before when it was the little tea house but I find now it's changed and overpriced. The food we got was ok but I'd expect more for the price. I ordered the chicken, bacon and avocado panini for around 8 and got a few leaves with it for the salad! Also I miss the loose leaf teas!

Booked cafe Victoria for mothers day afternoon tea, when we arrived 19/03/23 at 12:25 the waitresses didnt know what we were booked in for. I booked this with the owner over 12 days ago she said that she would email the menu and confirmation, I had to rang her again on the 11/03/23 to reminded her that I still had not received the Mothers Day Menu also confirmation of my booking she replied that she hadnt been very well and she would send me the menu and confirmation on Tuesday the 14/03/23, never received the email or the menu, so we turned up at cafe Victoria on the 19/03/23 no one had any idea what we were there for, eventually the mother of caf Victoria came down and was making excuses after excuses that they only had 1 pastry chef etc etc also that she had been called in to help out, repeatedly saying the same thing over and over again, which I felt not my problem, we were then offered beverages at no cost to us while we waited for the afternoon tea to arrive,25 minutes later the sandwiches, scones and cakes arrived, the sandwiches were fresh, the scones were quite stale, the earl grey tea never arrived so after eating the scones we asked the waitress to box up the cakes for us to take away, feeling very frustrated and upset I asked for the bill, nothing was taken off the bill so I asked to speak to the owner, the mother came down and asked what I would like to be done my reply was Im willing to pay for one of the afternoon teas after what we had endured and the waiting around,I could see that she wasnt happy doing this but did it anyway, as she walked away she turned back and said sarcastically have a good afternoon!!! I felt quite sorry for the waitresses I could see that they were embarrassed by the whole situation that we had endured. I feel that management could do well with going on a course for customer care and hospitality.
