35 for an average Fish and Chips, and I still feel hungry afterwards. Also the portions are way smaller than they used to be a few years ago

Used to be gorgeous, it used to be my favourite fish and chip shop, and worth the hour long drive to go to about ten years ago, and before that, but unfortunately it isn't the same as it used to be. The fish and chips are now just average, my son didn't even eat his, said he didn't like it anymore. The portions are also a lot smaller.Very expensive for what you get, 35 for four small fish and chips.We were all still hungry by the time we got home. Parkgate is a beautiful area though.

Loved our visit here last week. Usually very very busy but we picked a quiet time, we were served straight away. No queue, friendly staff, lovely food and a brilliant view if you get a table by the window. I had the sausage dinner and highly recommend it. The chips are lovely, not greasy and cooked perfectly. Will definitely be back
