Blue Water

a lovely place to shop - different clothes , shoes and accessories - what's not to like. The staff are always great and helpful so I'm sure that the lady who was a bit off one day did not mean anything personal

Usually I don't write one star reviews but today is not about the shop, I shopped here many times, and this lovely lady is always welcoming and helpful to get us the right sizes. Today her colleague, from the moment we come in the shop, she was looking at every move we did. I come with the intention to buy but every move felt very awkward like I was doing something wrong, she goes to the back of the shop and when she returns, says to her colleague " aren't they gone yet"?! Like I said I come with the intention to buy, I don't know if she didn't liked us speaking other language with my friend, but no one told me a rule, not speaking in your language on a public place. I would like to know if that's the case. I live in UK for 13 years but never felt so awkward in a shop. In the end I bought my friend a jumper that she liked, and a jumper for me cuz she said it looked good on me, the shop was full with people but she constantly looked at as like we had bad intentions. I work in NHS and I do community work i have my criminal record check every year, I wouldn't be able to do the work that I do with a criminal record.
