Couldn't have chosen a better cattery. Can't thank Dorothy the owner enough for taking such good care of Boo boo my cat. Would certainly recommend this place to anyone .

After having a fairly bad experience at another cattery, we were really nervous about leaving Stella somewhere - however, for our wedding, we did not have the usual family around to look after her. We neednt have been worried as Dorothy was amazing from the get-go. Compared to the tiny cages we saw at other catteries, Orchard Cottage is palatial. Each cat has two rooms, one more secluded and indoors, the other with more fresh air. From there, she could watch the birds or rabbits and listen to the water. We are already booked in for our next holiday, safe in the knowledge that our cat will be cared for, looked after and happy whilst we are away.

Amazing, caring lady who runs and cares for the cats. Feel at ease when on holiday knowing my cat is in good hands.

My Cat Fern is a frequent flyer at the Orchard Cottage Cattery. Proprietor Dorothy and her staff provide an excellent service and one can be assured that our beloved Feline Companions are well cared for during their stay with all their needs met. The staff take time to get to know the guests through play and grooming and they really understand Ferns personality and emotional needs. On her return to the household Fern settles back in quickly and resumes normal activities. The accommodation is clean and tidy and looks on to a relaxing courtyard with many visiting wildlife. Fern can bring her own toys, bedding and food. The Cats are entertained with music and there is heating for the cold days and nights. Dorothy is more than happy to negotiate special requests to make the cats more comfortable.
