The Lily Pad, Frog Hall

Lovely location and quaint little cottages. Well positioned for events in the village and the local area. The courtyard is clean as is the cottage itself. The rooms are in the eaves upstairs so watch your head if you are tall, but they are spacious with storage and wardrobes as well as a desk and mirror in each. The beds are ok, not quite as comfortable as they looked but they were clean. The bathroom is downstairs and is more of a wet room with an added bath so is good for accessibility and general mobility issues. The general decor is a bit on the dated side and the bathroom in particular could do with a little revamp as the tiles are incredibly slippery and are showing signs of mould getting in. All things considered it is a good spot and I'll happily go there again.

Stayed here for a wedding and also a skydive, was ideal location for both which was great and the area was very nice. The room I stayed in, number 8, can do with a revamp, the bathroom trailing and items where all rusted looking which was less than ideal, and not sure what coffee was left but did not taste nice. Apart from those minor items it was a really good stay, wished I had time to try the pool but unfortunately didn't Will definitely come back if I need to stay in the area.
