Popped in for a drink whilst on a narrowboating holiday. Nice looking pub, outside could do with some tlc. Was amused to have a Pepsi come out of a price marked 2 litre bottle, reminded me of my first job 30+ years ago where we used to do the same (although we peeled the price off first)

Great pub with a nice selection of ales. Great food, too. I highly recommend the faggots. There is also the Potting Shed bar too which is a nice place to relax on comfortable sofas.

When to The Folly today at lunchtime with 3 small children, we all got drinks and crisps and sat in the garden, and one of us got a pork roll from the van parked in the carpark. No other food was being served and as the kids were hungry we gave them a sandwich from our picnic we were having later to keep them quiet. Gosh we regret it now, the owner came charging over and gave us a right telling off! He didnt put it in a nice way at all It was all the more upsetting as my 84 year old mother, who was with us, is a regular customer and has taken lots of her friends there for meals. Also we were there today as my daughter in law was hoping to book The Potting Shed for her 30th birthday do with 50 guests. We certainly wont be returning now! I get it about not eating our own food but they werent serving food and the children were hungry
