Been here a few times , every time I go in it seems there is a different landlord (is it something I have said). Anyway when ever I have had something to eat, it's always hot and served to the table in a reasonable time. Always been driving so never had the chance to try the beers. Friendly staff. Give it a try.

Really friendly staff and fair prices for the drinks. It's a big pub with lots of seating, there is a pool table too although we didn't use it. We only stopped for a couple of drinks but will head back at some point to try the food as the menu looked good. There are some outdoor seats to the front and side of the pub. There is also a kids' climbing frame area outside and another larger playground across the road from the pub. There is a good deal of free parking at the pub too.

New owners are doing well, and food now is back on. Good pub food and reasonable prices. Now cleaner and friendlier since the last visit.

I understand there was a change of management but the food has gone back to the old Marston's rubbish. The service was decent however there was a long wait for our meal, no atmosphere and no live sports for a bit of entertainment. I very much doubt the pub will bounce back which is a huge shame as it was excellent for a meal and a quiet drink.
