We just purchased our fantastic new home with the help of the great team at James Du Pavey in Nantwich. Nothing was too much trouble as they handled all our questions professionally and gave great advice when our own sale went through a tricky period. Just to mention a few names who guided us the through the process. Initially James and Jack dealt with us with the viewing and negotiation stages and then Shelly and Bella took over to sort all our questions and get us over the finish line. My experience of this agent was as a buyer. First impressions were positive. They did have a good selection of properties I was able to view a wide range. I did end up purchasing a property they were marketing and from offer through to completion this is sadly where my experience became less positive. Very Unhelpful with negotiations, also left me waiting almost 2 weeks on an offer I had made, understandably I was ready to pull and asked to view another property which they totally ignored. Fortunately the offer was accepted so proceeded with the sale. The agents were very pushy on behalf of the seller, eg pushing me to exchange before I had received my survey results, branch manager actually telling me I couldnt just wait for my survey to come back! Isnt that the point of getting one done? On completion day the communication was appaling, left very late in the day although my funds cleared first thing. As I lived out of the area and it was dark I ended up not even getting my key until the next day. In my experience james du pavey work hard for the seller but treat buyers with little respect. They market properties well and branding is good but I wont use them to sell my house when the time comes after what happened
