M&S Simply Food

Food is great, really delicious and of good quality at a very good price. Shop is clean and well laid out. The same you get anywhere else in the country. The difference is that in London, Manchester, Birmingham or Liverpool you don't hear as you shop from other customers: I dont mind if they live here as long as they work. I was shocked and upset to hear these words in this day and age. Since leaving university I have worked in the public sector and am now chartered CIPD. I was born in London to parents who have a Mixed race marriage (both public sector workers) and moved to the area just before COVID. I thought it was a nice area to raise 2 small children but during COVID I had to get used to people crossing the street to avoid someone with Asian features (they didnt cross the street to avoid white people) and this incident raised again the issues I have faced living here. The comment resulted in a negative experience that isn't the fault of M&S. But I share this experience in hope that whoever made that comment might understand how offensive they are.

The toilets in m&s in nantwich are disgusting. One of the toilets does not flush at all and there was no hand soap. The floor is dirty. The toilets are dirty in general.

Came in Saturday around 3pm 18th Feb 2023. Won't be returning again. Our first time using the cafe. They messed up kids meal order. They then messed up my food order. Not only did they do that but the elderly lady working was absolutely vile. No apology,just give me a filthy look and a sarcastic comment. I was actually having a minor panic attack when we went in and this made it even worse. Only wanted to treat the kids because we rarely go out. The staff ruined it.
