Worst meal in 20 years of coming here. Very poor service, long wait for food despite only half full when we arrived and only having a main course, request for complimentary drinks when food did arrive denied despite already having bought a bottle of wine which would typically have at least 50% mark up so theyd still have been in the money. Staff defensive rather than genuinely apologetic or eager to put things right, blaming head office, and manager refusing to give her name. All future business lost for the sake of a proper apology and two glasses of red wine-hopeless and not the sort of experience we need to put up with. Dont deserve to stay in business if this an example of how they want to treat customers.

After reading the reviews, it was safe to say my expectations were very low. However, the staff are lovely people and I sympathise with how understaffed they are - doing the best they could. I agree with the other reviews about the menu, whoever wrote it is very skilled it making it sound better than it was. I recommend the mushroom pie if youre going to eat here as its a huge portion! but yes, overpriced. All this place is truly needs is toast with breakfast, other than that it was a very memorable stay!
