Having met a trio of MR 'rescuers' on the moors recently I wouldn't give them a penny. Their out of control dog bit my two companions and tried to bite me. They gave no apologies and seem amused. Plenty of signage saying 'nesting birds, keep your dog on a lead' etc. No more donations from me.

I would like to express my most sincere thanks to the 12 members of the team who on Saturday at the request of the ambulance service attended to my partner and myself who became stranded due to weather on Nab Water Lane near to Oxenhome. The team arrived enmasse in 3 of their specialist vehicles to assist the Ambulance service who attended due to my Partner's autoimmune condition being stuck up on this treacherous road which we took following our Sat Nav. They were amazing, they calmed down my partner who after 3 hours was becoming really affected by the cold and her anxiety was getting really heightened leaving her very upset. Thank you team, your professionalism and caring support was much appreciated by myself and Trish.
